    Salt Lake...here we come!

We are off to visit Salt Lake for Spring Break. We plan on doing lots of visiting, going to the temple and meeting new family members.

For those of you who are in Utah, we will be in Utah from March 29th through April 4th. Give us a call and we will try to fit you in.

    Now for some updates...

Hannah has begun learning how to pole vault. She is having a blast and is finding muscles that she never knew she had. She has informed me that she hated the pictures I had posted here and that I had better do a better job next time. She has some extremely long days now that the track season is here but I think she enjoys being busy.

We as a family have been nursing her prized POA Sweetie back to health this winter. The winter has really taken its toll on our pony. She started off getting a spinal cord injury. This left her staggering like she was drunk. (Dustin tried to convince everyone that she had just eaten too many clover but considering there was about three feet of snow on the ground that would have been a miracle.) Sweetie then laid open her left front leg to the bone. Between the two injuries, her appetite diminished to almost nothing and so has her weight. Fortunately, we believe she has managed to overcome the worst of it and will start to now gain back some of her much needed weight.

Dustin went through the temple. He found it amazing and can't wait to go through the Salt Lake Temple while we are down in Salt Lake. He is thrilled to be able to quit working on Friday. Alpaca are not his thing. For those of you who don't know, he has been working as a stable hand at an Alpaca farm.
I have a new venture. Many of you know that I love books. While looking for a new bookstore I came across Bookwise and have decided to join. If any of you are interested, give me a call, shoot me an email or click on the "Dusthan Ranch Bookstore" link here on the blog.

Aside from my new venture, I'm barely keeping my head above water with some extremely moody and sometimes very confused but otherwise wonderful Laurels as I'm the Young Women's President in the ward.

Kev is busy being an awesome husband, father and provider. He is keeping busy trying to get the financial models for Coldwater Creek up and running. He gets to deal with attitude from some sometimes stubborn Priests with his calling as Young Men's President. (At least I'm not the only one ;) ) And, he gets to find that there are not enough hours in the day to do everything he would like on three acres of land (not enough money, either for that matter).

Enjoy the new pictures! We hope your families are doing well!
